Welcome to Muslimony ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our Islamic matrimony platform, website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Service.

Data Retention: We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy or as required by law. Upon account deletion, we will erase your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

In accordance with Islamic principles, we encourage and facilitate the involvement of family members, guardians, or mahram in the matrimonial process. Users may choose to involve their wali (guardian) at any stage of communication.
While we respect the privacy of your communications, we may access messages when necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, or investigating Terms violations. Do not share sensitive personal or financial information through our messaging system.
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. To cancel:
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods through our payment processor. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.
If payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 times. If unsuccessful, your subscription will be downgraded to a free account. You remain responsible for any outstanding amounts.
All subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or as described below. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial months, unused features, or if you choose to cancel your subscription.
If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription purchase within 14 days of purchase (the "cooling-off period") without giving any reason.
Important: If you use premium features during this 14-day period, you expressly agree to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you will forfeit your right to cancel once services have been fully performed.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact support@muslimony.com with your request. Refunds will be processed within 14 days using the same payment method.

Muslimony provides tools and technology to facilitate connections between Muslims seeking marriage. However, we do NOT guarantee that you will find a suitable match, meet a specific person, or achieve any particular outcome.

Success in finding a spouse depends on many factors beyond algorithmic matching, including personal effort, communication, Allah's will (qadr), and compatibility that can only be assessed through direct interaction.
Muslimony DOES NOT conduct criminal background checks, employment verification, financial verification, or comprehensive identity verification on users.
We are NOT responsible for the conduct, actions, or representations of any user. You are solely responsible for conducting your own due diligence before meeting or forming relationships.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from our Service without explicit written permission from us.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial matrimonial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@muslimony.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith within 30 days.
In keeping with Islamic principles, parties may mutually agree to Islamic mediation or arbitration through a qualified Islamic scholar or mediation service before pursuing legal action.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction - e.g., State of Delaware, United States], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by us.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Muslimony concerning the Service.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction. Any attempted assignment in violation of this section shall be void.
These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights. No third party may enforce any provision of these Terms.
These Terms are written in English. Any translations are provided for convenience only. In case of conflicts, the English version shall prevail.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by:
Material changes will take effect 30 days after notification. Non-material changes take effect immediately upon posting.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
